Candle Wax

It's easier to remove candle wax once it's dried (unlike wine spills). Scrape off as much wax as you can with a knife, then lay paper towels on the remaining wax. Use an iron, set on low to medium heat, over the towels to melt the wax. The paper towels should absorb the newly heated wax, making clean up a breeze.
